Box Housing
The box housing is constructed of extruded aluminum, with a sleek and compact design. One of two sizes of box housing are used depending on the overall size of the screen.
The box housing encloses the curtain when the screen is in the open position. The motor is located inside the box housing, which rotates an axle to coil up the screen's curtain inside the box. TranquilGuard box housings have the most compact design in the industry.
TranquilGuard box housings are designed to be extremely accessible if maintenance or servicing are required.
The commercial grade aluminum is environmentally friendly, with a powder coated finishing. Box housings are available in a wide range of colors including 6 standard colors and any custom color to your specification.
Operation
TranquilGuard retractable screens offer multiple operation methods via remote, app, or Wi-Fi. Using world-leading tubular motor brands, our screens operate extremely quietly and smoothly. Options are available for both single-channel and multi-channel controls. Each channel is able to operate one screen or a group of screens making it extremely simple and efficient to control any number of screens.
Remotes feature 3 main buttons including up and down operation, and a stop button. The remotes allow you to operate the screen up and down by pressing the button once, and stop the screen curtain at any position.
The app available makes operation of the screen extremely convenient and can be done from anywhere, even when you are not home. This allows you to operate your screens from any location!
The Wi-Fi option allows you to integrate screen operation with your smart home automation.
Bottom Bar
The TranquilGuard bottom bar is a Standard 44mm Bottom Bar. This bottom bar is constructed of extruded aluminum, with an attractive powder-coated finish with many color options. This bottom bar has the option of object-detection, which is a safety feature causing the curtain to go back up when it detects an obstruction under it.
Guide Rails
The TranquilGuard guide rails are Standard 37 mm Guide Rails. These guide rails are highly accessible with a 2 part design.
The TranquilGuard guide rail consists of extruded aluminum with our zipper channel system. A small channel is used to clamp the screen curtain to each guide rail. This advanced zipper system features a zipper on each side of the screen curtain, which is fed into the zipper channel in the guide rail. This system allows the screen to withstand immense amounts of force on the curtain screen. If too much force is put on the curtain screen, it will simply pop out of the guide rails without damaging the screen due to the advanced zipper system. When the curtain pops out of the guide rail, it can easy be fed back into the guide rails in seconds. This feature is standard on all TranquilGuard screens, allowing the screens to withstand winds up to 145 km/h before it pops out.
