Box Housing

Quick-Disconnect Axel: Install lighter, faster, smarter. The axle detaches in seconds, reducing weight during installation and giving clear access to mount the box housing with ease. Just reconnect the axle and you're ready to roll. Service-friendly too, when needed.

Bug Brush Brilliance: Located in the box housing screen opening and along the bottom bar this optional bug brush blocks insects and frogs from entering your space, while brushing the curtain clean with every cycle.

Operation

TranquilGuard retractable screens offer multiple operation methods via remote, app, or Wi-Fi. Using world-leading tubular motor brands, our screens operate extremely quietly and smoothly. Options are available for both single-channel and multi-channel controls. Each channel is able to operate one screen or a group of screens making it extremely simple and efficient to control any number of screens.

Remotes feature 3 main buttons including up and down operation, and a stop button. The remotes allow you to operate the screen up and down by pressing the button once, and stop the screen curtain at any position.

The app available makes operation of the screen extremely convenient and can be done from anywhere, even when you are not home. This allows you to operate your screens from any location!

The Wi-Fi option allows you to integrate screen operation with your smart home automation.

Bottom Bar

The TranquilGuard bottom bar is a 51mm Bottom Bar. This bottom bar is constructed of extruded aluminum, with an attractive powder-coated finish with many color options. This bottom bar has the option of object-detection, which is a safety feature causing the curtain to go back up when it detects an obstruction under it.

Newly improved, the TranquilGuard 2.0 includes a built in end retention system within the bottom bar. This system anchors the bottom bar in place to prevent bowing and stop the curtain from blowing out, delivering strength, stability, and reliable performance when it counts.

Guide Rails

The TranquilGuard guide rails are universal 2-part 50 mm Guide Rails. These guide rails are highly accessible with a slide-and-screw assembly with hidden fasteners and full mounting flexibility, face, recessed, between jambs, or inside U-channels. One guide rail design handles every mounting scenario.

The TranquilGuard guide rail consists of extruded aluminum with our friction-free aluminum zipper channel system. A small channel is used to clamp the screen curtain to each guide rail. This advanced zipper system features a zipper on each side of the screen curtain, which is fed into the zipper channel in the guide rail. This system allows the screen to withstand immense amounts of force on the curtain screen due to failure-proof technology that is reinforced and reliable no matter the condition.

Box Housing

The box housing is constructed of extruded aluminum, with a sleek and compact design. One of two sizes of box housing are used depending on the overall size of the screen.

The box housing encloses the curtain when the screen is in the open position. The motor is located inside the box housing, which rotates an axle to coil up the screen's curtain inside the box. TranquilGuard box housings have the most compact design in the industry.

TranquilGuard box housings are designed to be extremely accessible if maintenance or servicing are required.

The commercial grade aluminum is environmentally friendly, with a powder coated finishing. Box housings are available in a wide range of colors including 6 standard colors and any custom color to your specification.

Guide Rails

Our TranquilGuard 2.0 features removeable end-cap legs that allow ultimate installation ease. The legs remove and reattached so you can always install with your preferred method: box first, guide rails first, or fully assembled and lifted into place. Face mount, recessed, or between jambs, this system is adaptable while improving alignment and installation speed.
